2023 TVC Outstanding Contribution Recognition Award

Each year since 1994, the Tualatin Valley Council recognizes a couple or individual for dedication and outstanding contributions to the promotion of modern square dance.

For 2023 the TVC hereby recognizes: Frank and Nadine Collett

Frank and Nadine have been well-known figures at TVC club dances and OFRSDC festivals. They have been welcoming and encouraging to all.

Frank and Nadine started square dancing in 1979 as members of the 59rs. They were founding members of TriSquares when it was formed from three clubs. They have served as officers in both clubs, including club delegate to the TVC multiple times.

The TVC recognizes in Frank and Nadine a true desire to connect with people through dancing. Both have worked tirelessly to promote and develop membership through angelling lessons and mentoring new club members and officers.

With thanks and gratitude, we offer Nadine our sincerest congratulations for displaying a spirit of service in pursuit of happiness in dancing.
